Projector Module
What is the reliability of a 1995 Dodge Neon? Should I trade my ’78 F-250 for it?

Here’s what has been done to it

new timing belt
new water pump
new ecu
new brakes front/rear
new wiring harness for the engine
new engine 60,000 mi ago
new transmission 60,000mi ago
new rear camber struts
new headlamps w/seals
new altezza tail lamps
has low-profile tires toyo proxes 4 17″
cool air intake
mindblower proformance module
extra set of projector headlamps $175
hid lighting system $150

There are a total of at least 160K Miles on it. I’m looking for a commuter car and he is asking 1200. He would trade it for my 1978 F-250. Is it worth it? I want something with better gas mileage and I wanted to sell my pickup for 1600 but no one wants to buy it so i’m kinda forced to trade.

maybe with all those repairs, its really hard to say, and it would definitely depend on what shape your truck is in. Also some of the 1995 Neons were actually made in 1993, which you can tell by reading the manufacturers panel on the inside doorframe. If that is the case, I would say more like maybe-yes, as these were originally leased only to executives and manufactured to a higher standard of quality. I used to own one of these and it outlasted my mom’s 1997.
